The AWS Regional Technology Alliances Manager Role
The AWS Regional Technology Alliances Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth associated with creating awareness, joint campaigns and co-selling Qlik products alongside AWS. The individual will define and execute partner enablement and engagement programs designed to drive preference to work with Qlik, as well as joint marketing and co-sales activities designed to generate demand. This position will work closely with our ISV regional sales team, regional marketing managers, GSI and channel alliance managers. We are looking for an experienced and independent professional with a passion for technology and experience selling to and working with the ISV segment.
Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:
- Collaborate with the Qlik ISV sales field, the partner field and channels to enable, drive joint opportunities to expand mutual adoption and ultimately customer success
- Coordinate with partners to create and execute regional business plans to meet sales goals
- Evangelize and educate partners about Qlik’s value proposition
- Develop positive working relationship with partners
- Assist in partner marketing activities such as tradeshows and other promotional activities.
- Track and report on referred and influenced business opportunities with the partners
We’re looking for a teammate with:
- Experience working with AWS and ISV’s as customers preferred
- Strong and proven sales/partner sales execution skills
- Excellent communication, listening, presentation, and writing skills.
- Ability to navigate highly matrixed organizations to facilitate execution
- Ability to move fast, multi-task and drive results, while being self-sufficient.
- An outgoing, personable and organized person with a strong will to succeed.
- Ability to prioritize activities.
- A self-starter and have the ability to work independently and remotely within a matrix organization.
Qualifications you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Eight + years of Technology Alliances or an ISV partner sales experience
- Experience with a Data Integration or BI/Analytics software company is advantageous

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $157,500 – $168,000 per year. [This position is eligible for a commission within a range of $67,500 - $72,000 subject to meeting targets set forth in a sales compensation plan. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
